Our story, since 1971

A Cheyenne family practice since 1971. Dr. Brad Kincheloe grew up here and came straight home from dental school to join his father. One family has been coming for more than twenty-five years.

Our friendly and caring staff is a snapshot of the community we live in and love, and new patients are always welcome.

How this practice works

Uncompromising, and never pushy.

Our mission is a shared vision of uncompromising excellence in dentistry: listening to the people we serve, earning their trust, and exceeding what they expect. In practice, that comes down to three things.

01

Every option, and no pressure

The worry: being sold expensive work you never asked about.

We will never pressure you into expensive or elective treatment. You hear every option, including the lower-cost ones that give the same result, and we will tell you when more treatment is unnecessary. One patient came to Dr. Tonso for a second opinion and has stayed ever since.

02

Children who grow up unafraid

The worry: a first visit that makes a child dread the next one.

Children are not born afraid of the dentist, they fear the unknown. We use pleasant, simple words, start with happy visits and brushing lessons, and keep teaching technique right through the teenage years.

03

Open at 7, so you keep your day

The worry: losing half a working day to an hour in the chair.

Doors open at 7:00 am Monday to Friday, and on the 1st and 3rd Mondays we stay until 5:00 pm. A regular exam and cleaning takes about an hour, and you get electronic and personal reminders before each appointment.

Cosmetic & implants: hit refresh on your smile.

Dental implants

Artificial tooth roots that bond with your own bone and anchor one or more crowns. Backed by more than fifty years of research, and often the best long-term way to replace a tooth.

Porcelain veneers

Thin tooth-colored porcelain bonded to the visible surfaces of the teeth, for chips, cracks and reshaping, without a long run of procedures.

Teeth whitening

Over-the-counter products lift surface stains. A professional treatment reaches the deeper stains that give teeth their color, and ours is done at home.

Smile makeover

A plan designed around your own mouth, combining whichever restorative and cosmetic treatments it needs, even if you thought your smile was past the point of no return.

TMJ/TMD treatment

Headaches that start in the jaw.

Temporomandibular joint disorder is common, degenerative and rarely diagnosed properly. It can cause migraines, jaw and neck pain, and it does not get better on its own. Treatment starts with a complete assessment to find the right combination for you.

  • Advanced training at the Dawson AcademyThe practice treats TMD with the training Dr. Kincheloe takes at the prestigious Dawson Academy, and can relieve persistent headaches and migraines.
  • Custom appliances that work while you sleepA night guard if you grind at night, or a custom splint that brings the jaw into the right position and takes the strain off.
  • The signs to look forPain around the jaw, ear, neck or shoulders when you chew or speak, clicking or popping, a jaw that locks, or a bite that no longer feels right.
